Skills

You have skills! Most skills are opposed tests against another person’s skill or you have to hit a target number for some sort of difficulty you are overcoming.
Your cap on skills is mental/2 or physique/2 for athletics.

Pilot
How well you can move your suit. This is used for difficult maneuvers as well as for overcoming obstacles in your path.

Technology
Your knowledge of modern technology and how it works. This is used from repair checks to figuring out the specifics of a new mobile weapon or ship’s cannons.

Navigation
Your ability to find your way around by studying the stars, position of planetary bodies, and the sun itself. Without this, lost can become a real thing.

Athletics
This represents how good you are at the physical stuff. Like climbing a rock face, climbing into your cockpit fast, jumping over a ditch, or performing other physical feats with your meat body.

Subterfuge
Subterfuge is used for forgery, hiding, sleight of hand tricks and virtually anything imaginable that requires a bit of sneakiness or cunning to pull off. Unlike other skills the opposed test to subterfuge is usually perception except in rare instances like forgery.

Computers
Your ability to use modern computers. It also covers the uses of sensors, electronic warfare, hacking and other such related things.

Tactics
Tactics can be used to study the enemy’s movements to figure out their objective or to figure out how best to position your own troops to counter the enemy.

Oratory
How well you can persuade others, intimidate them, convince them, or even how well you can draw a crowd together with a story or your singing voice.

Education
How well educated you are, this is used for academic knowledge, as well for your knowledge upon human anatomy.

Leadership
This is a measure of just how inspiring your presence is, how well you can get the attention of others, and how you can just put a little edge in your voice to make everyone agree that your plan is best.

Perception
Your ability to notice things in and outside of a mobile weapon. This is kind of important to not take an ambush to your butt.

Survival
Your ability to survive any given situation. This ranges from finding food to enduring physical hardship in the face of adversity.
